Let’s make our community a better place together!

Our Lady of Lourdes is a Roman Catholic Parish under the Archdiocese of Vancouver. We are one of the oldest French and English speaking parishes in Coquitlam. Over the past 100 years, we have assisted thousands of families, both parishioners and visitors, with their spiritual and financial needs.
Are you passionate about helping the local community? Let us know! We are always looking for volunteers to help us make our vision for a more vibrant community possible. We'll help you find a way to volunteer that best suits you. We're excited to have you join our parish team!
Our community is blessed with amazing individuals and families. We are so grateful for your help through monetary donations, volunteering your time, and spreading our mission through word-of-mouth, thank you. We couldn't accomplish our goals without the help of this amazing community.

We are in the final stretch of this year’s 40 Days for Life Campaign! Join with other parishioners at the vigil site (4818 Willow St, Vancouver) on Saturday, March 28 anytime form 7 am to 6 pm to pray for respect for all human life from conception to natural death. If you are unable to attend, please pray on your own or join the nightly online rosary at beholdvancouver.org/events/40-days-for-life-2028.

Join us every Friday during Lent at 6 pm for the Stations of the Cross as we reflect deeply on the extreme love of Jesus Christ for us. Walking through each Station, from his condemnation to the tomb, helps us enter his sacrifice with greater gratitude and peace. The Stations of the Cross will be followed by Mass at 7 pm.

All the Catholic faithful are encouraged to attend a Penitential Service during this holy season of Lent. During Confession, we come before the Lord with the burden of our sinfulness seeking the healing that comes from being forgiven and the grace of a new beginning. Nearby Penitential Services are listed as per graphic.

Holy Week is the most solemn and glorious week of the liturgical year. It is more sacred than Christmas! Holy Week commemorates the final week of our Lord's life, the very purpose for which Christmas happened. Spread over three days and different liturgies; they are, in fact, one long liturgical celebration. We commemorate the Paschal Mystery, the passion, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Beginning with the Last Supper on Holy Thursday, Jesus gave us himself in the Eucharist and showed us, through the washing of the feet, how to humbly serve each other. Good Friday marks the betrayal, arrest, condemnation, crucifixion and death of our Lord. His unfathomable sacrificial love redeems us from our sin. Holy Saturday is a quiet day, a day to reflect on the emptiness of life without Christ. Easter Sunday we are overjoyed at the resurrection of Jesus, the Christ! He is alive! His victory over sin and death is decisive. Alleluia!

Parish Renewal Tuesday Rosary
Everyone is invited to join in praying the Rosary for our parish, including its outreach to the community. The missional prayer Rosary will take place on Tuesday morning 9:00 AM (after Mass) and at 5:00 PM. We seek the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on our parish for the spiritual well-being and growth of our parishioners and a God-led awakening and welcome to our surrounding community. Please pray with us.

Our Lady of Lourdes Parish has assisted thousands of at-need individuals throughout its rich history. Since 1909, we have opened our doors to the Maillardville community and beyond, providing a rich history of inclusion, spirituality, and community development.

We are dedicated to improving the lives of those in our community. Your contribution today helps us make a meaningful difference today.
